The OFS Pinot Noir typifies a quintessential Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. Generous aromas of blackberry and raspberry lift out of the glass. The aromas unfold to fresh berries mingling with rose petals towards the front of the palate, followed by undertones of cola, leather, and black tea in the mid to back palate. This seductively layered wine is perfectly balanced with its fine acids and medium bodied soft tannins, resulting in a wine that is approachable upon release as well as a wine that will continue to develop beautiful nuances with age.
Enjoy with roasted port tenderloin with fingerling potatoes or grilled rack of lamb with honey mustard glaze.

A very fine Pinot Noir, dry and elegantly constructed, but it needs a little time in the cellar. That’s due to the tannins, which are thick and noticeable in the way they create astringency through the finish. The flavors are exceptionally rich, suggesting cherries, raspberries and tobacco, with a welcome sweetness from toasty oak.
